Student Health Programs on Campus

The mandatory Student Health Fee covers the cost of several programs on campus including Student Health Services, the Counseling Center, and the Wellness Center. This fee also helps support the student EMS program and Disability Support Services.

  • Student Health Services provides primary health care well-woman and well-man exams, inoculations, and other non-emergency medical care.

  • The Wellness Center is a resource for health and wellness information and services which include a weight reduction program and individualized consultations and services provided by health specialists, including a nutritionist, massage therapist, and acupuncturist.

  • Rice Counseling Center offers free, confidential counseling, consultations and crisis intervention by licensed mental health counselors. Psychiatric services, educational workshop and materials are also available.
